I love all of my new friends, and I got the chance to hang out with Katie yesterday, we went shopping and of course caught a showing of Twilight to make the day complete. We only took one picture, but I can promise you that next time we will take TONS of pictures. Who knows, maybe we'll be sportin some new shades in the pictures???

New Moon Soundtrack

This a post dedicated to everyone's thoughts on who should be on the soundtrack.

I would love to see My Chemical Romance on there, because Not Ok, is defiintely how Bella is feeling for a large chunk of the book.

On the soap box

*clears throat* I'm jumping up on my soap box, but just for a minute. I promise I'll get off quickly. :D

Katie and I were out running some errands and we started talking about thread that was posted on the forums recently. It is a post about praying for Rob daily. Now as a Christian I think this is a great idea. My question is what makes Rob so special? Why don't we pray for everyone involved with Twilight. They are all adjusting to the new found fame, no matter how it differs from the fame that Rob is dealing with. What about all celebs that are dealing with the swarms of paparazzi that follow them everywhere. What about those celebs that are doing drugs, getting arrested, or having family/relationship issues. Don't all these people deserve our prayers as well? I honestly think that Rob is handling his new found fame well, he is still level headed and down to earth (at least as far as the interviews, pictures, ect are showing). There are other people out there that are struggling with their fame in much worse ways than Rob.

Now, do I think that people should stop praying for him? Not at all, but maybe instead of focusing on just Rob they could sit back and realize that every celeb is dealing with the same things as Rob, and they deserve the prayer just as much.

America, hell the world, did this to him (and to every other celeb for that matter) so maybe the real prayer should be for people to change their focus from the celebs onto things that really matter.

Well, People is reporting that Taylor will be playing Jacob in "New Moon." Maybe Chris Weitz will be a great director after all.

And another thing that is apparent is the jeopardy of Taylor Lautner's roll in the "Twilight" sequel, "New Moon." Although Summit hasn't released an official announcement on the situation, that hasn't stopped the rumors from flying about the possibility of the 16 year old cutie being replaced. My personal opinion is that Summit is getting a big head from the success of "Twilight." They need to realize that one successful movie does not mean that every movie is going to be successful. They need to slow down, give the movie more time, and keep the original actors. Hollywood has many different techniques available to make Lautner look both older and taller. Changing the actors that play the main characters for anything other than death never ends well. The fans have come to know and love those people, and the way they bring the characters they have loved for years to life. Taylor had a very minor roll in the movie, but he did such a great job as Jacob, that they will probably see their dreams for a great opening weekend fade before their eyes.

Summit you really need to get your heads out of your asses and think like SMART business men/women. Slow the hell down, and think things through. Stop being douche bags.

42 and pregnant

This week's Life&Style magazine is claiming that Janet is pregnant.

All I can say is Wow!!! I just hope that they don't ask Michael to babysit.

I decided to post a little bit about the awesomeness that will be going down at the end of July.

TwiCon 2009 is taking place in Dallas July 31st-August 2nd. It will incompass all things Twilight( I know we are nerds, but you know you are jealous). The organizers have been working their tails off to make this the best it can be. They are do an amazing job, and I can't wait to see what else they come up with.
